There is NO way anyone will ever convince me that snakes don't have emotions and don't feel a sense of loss !! I've spent most of the day watching Chewy laying in the corner staring over at Jade's empty enclosure since she passed away and her enclosure is empty and every time I walk up so he can see my face he turns his back and avoids eye contact with me :(
Now I have to deal with his loss and how he's handling this and how it's going to affect him from this point forward and that's going to be the toughest part to watch him express his feelings with his loss also :(
I apologize for the quality it's night and my flash was reflecting on everything in Chewy's enclosure.

I already have the first of four babies but the breeder is getting rid of some of his snakes so I told him I want the other three babies from this clutch because I want to keep all four of the babies together and give them a great life and a great loving home :)
I will be making a follow up video when the other three new babies come in and I would appreciate some name suggestions for the new babies from all of my friends :o)
All of the baby Ball Pythons are coming from Rocky over at Serpent's Cave :)

Just made a quick video since i took all 4 babies outside for a few minutes today to allow them to be exposed to the sun and nature :) It wasn't that warm and they weren't out for long so it wasn't a threat to them but was cute how they all wanted to get up and go and take off outside of the plastic tote.

Busting Snake Myths
Snakes are the true teachers and educators and it's up to you how much time you are willing to invest with them to learn all that they can teach you.
Snakes that are social will work with you and not against you !!
People have spread so many myths about snakes and I made this video today outdoors with Chewy to show people how snakes REALLY act with people they have a close bond with and trust and have been raised as social snakes.
(1) If a snake is stressing out because you are handling it the snake will strike out at you and try to bite you and flee to get away from you. It won't stay close to you by it's own personal choice if it's stressed out or if the snake is merely because it's tolerating you !!
(2) Snakes aren't always close to humans because of a person's body heat because a snake that is still staying close to you on a 90 degree day outdoors surely isn't because it's trying to warm up by using your body heat.
(3) Snakes DO NOT size up food !! If a snake is hungry it will first bite to control a food item and then wrap and constrict it to secure it so it can eat it will greater ease!!
(4) Snakes most certainly aren't deaf and in this video (as many of my other videos) you will see several times my snake responding to my vocal commands and YES they can learn to respond to audio cues and routines !!
(5) A snake isn't always moving because it's stressed out if that were the case most of a snakes life it spends stressed out because any normal healthy curious snake will move around often and it doesn't mean the snake is stressing out but that depends on the person and how the snake is approached and handled !!

I've heard this tale for so many years it really amazes me there are so many people that actually believe snakes size people up with intentions of eating them as well they size up all living creatures to see if they can devour them as food !!! I do't know where people get these ideas from and what's worse is there are animal vets that also pass this information on to snake owners !!
In this video Apollo my new adopted cat got to meet Chewy my 11 foot Coastal Carpet Python and he's very curious about my snakes so I feel in time with a lot of dedication and supervision my two new adopted cats will accept my snakes and my snakes were best friends with my cat Deffer for 15 years before she passed away and they have constantly searched my house for her so I felt it was time to bring another cat into my home for my snakes to bond with in time.

I'm sorry I'm behind of posting videos I've been sick for almost three weeks and I wanted to make this video to let other snake keepers know that snakes that are socialized do notice a change in their relationship with their handler for various reasons.
I apologize for my absence and I'm feeling a bit better now so I can make more snake videos while we still have a warm week ahead :)

There is so much to learn about snakes and raising them and that's why it's so important to observe them on a regular basis so you can understand their body language and their intentions and their personality and temperament :o)
For some reason many people assume a snake constricts something with intentions of eating it and that's not why they do that and it's actually the complete reverse situation of what many people assume :(
